Terms of use

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Team Finland Market Opportunities, including our websites, email notifications, applications, buttons, widgets, (collectively, the "Services"), and any information, text, graphics, photos or other materials uploaded, downloaded or appearing on the Services (collectively referred to as "Content"). Your access to and use of the Services are conditional on your acceptance of and compliance with these Terms. By accessing or using the Services you agree to be bound by these Terms.

The Services are owned and operated by Innovation Funding Agency Business Finland, Business Finland Oy and the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland and any other Team Finland actors later defined by the aforementioned parties as being operators of the Services (collectively referred to as Service Providers).

Basic Terms

You are responsible for your use of the Services, for any Content you post to the Services, and for any consequences thereof. The Content you submit, post, or display through the Services is public by default and will be able to be viewed by other users. You should only provide Content that you are comfortable sharing with others under these Terms.

If you are using the Services and accepting these Terms on behalf of a company, organization, government, or other legal entity, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to do so.

The form and nature of the Services may change from time to time without prior notice to you. In addition, the Service Providers may stop (permanently or temporarily) providing the Services (or any features within the Services) to you or to users generally and may not be able to provide you with prior notice. The Service providers also retain the right to create limits on use and storage at its sole discretion at any time without prior notice to you.

Intellectual Property

All right, title and interest in and to the Services (excluding Content provided by users) are and will remain the exclusive property of the Service Providers and its licensors. The software that operates the Services is proprietary software and you may not use it except as expressly allowed under these Terms. You may not copy, reverse engineer, modify or otherwise deal with the software.

You may not use or reproduce or allow anyone to use or reproduce any trademarks of the Service Providers or their licensors for any reason without written permission from the Service Providers.

Registration and Passwords

Certain areas or features of the Services and/or the Content are only open to registered users. Note also, that in order to use more than one feature you may be required to register separately to various Services. You are solely responsible for the use of and access to the Services and/or the Content using your user name and/or password. You agree to immediately notify Service Providers if you become aware of the loss, theft or unauthorised use of any user name, password or e-mail address or of any Content. You will provide Service Providers with accurate, complete registration information and inform Service Providers of any changes to such information.

You are responsible for safeguarding the passwords that you use to access the Services and for any activities or actions under your passwords. We encourage you to use "strong" passwords (passwords that use a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers and symbols) with your accounts. Service Provider cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the above.

Collection and use of customer information

The Service Providers observe the data protection regulations when processing personal data.

Some information on you are collected and processed when you register, subscribe or make use of our Services. Depending on the Service you are signing in, You can sign in by your Twitter, Google+ or Facebook profile or by using your e-mail address to register as a user. You can also submit other information on yourself for the Service Providers as you consider appropriate.

You have the right to know what information we have on you, for what purposes we use and how we treat your data, as well as how you can exercise your rights of registered person. Cookies

On some occasions the Service Providers may transfer data to a user's computing device which allows the user to be identified. Items of this type are known as 'cookies' and are used to improve the service being provided by the Service Providers. Doing this may however prevent you from benefiting from some sections of the Services.

Content on the Services

All Content, whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, is the sole responsibility of the person who originated such Content. The Service Providers cannot take responsibility for such Content. Any use or reliance on any Content or materials posted via the Services or obtained by you through the Services is at your own risk.

The Service Providers do not endorse, support, represent or guarantee the completeness, truthfulness, accuracy, or reliability of any Content or communications posted via the Services or endorse any opinions expressed via the Services. Under no circumstances will the Service Providers be liable in any way for any Content, including, but not limited to, any errors or omissions in any Content, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of any Content posted, emailed, transmitted or otherwise made available via the Services.

You agree that the Service Providers has, in its sole discretion, the right not to publish the Content You submitted. The Service Providers has also the right to delete any published Content.

Rights to the Content

You retain your rights to any Content you submit, post or display on or through the Services.

You are responsible for your use of the Services, for any Content you provide, and for any consequences thereof, including the use of your Content by other users and our third party partners. You understand and agree that your Content may be modified and further developed and processed by Service Providers within the Service. You accept that the Service Providers will decide on publishing of your Content in any modified form. The Service Providers will not be responsible or liable for any use of your Content in accordance with these Terms. You represent and warrant that you have all the rights, power and authority necessary to the Content that you submit.

The Services and Content may contain links to third-party websites or resources. You agree that Service Providers are not responsible or liable for the availability or accuracy of such websites or resources or the content, products or service on or available from such websites or resources. You bear the sole responsibility for an assume all risk arising from your use of any such websites or resources.

Liability and Indemnity

All Content and Services are provided 'as is'.

Although the Service Providers endeavour to ensure the high quality and accuracy of the Content and the Services, Service Provider makes no warranty, express or implied concerning the Services, the Content, or any software which are provided "as is". The Service Providers expressly disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to warranties of fitness for a particular purpose and warranties of merchantability. In no event will the Service Providers, its affiliates, agents, suppliers or licensors be liable for indirect, special, incidental, and/or consequential damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information or other pecuniary loss) that may arise directly or indirectly from the use of (or failure to use) or reliance on the Services, even if the Service Providers has been advised of the possibility that such damages may arise. The Service Providers do not guarantee the accuracy, content, or timeliness of the Services or the Content or that they are free from viruses or other contaminating or destructive properties.

Upon the Service Providers' request, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Service Provider, its affiliates, agents, suppliers and licensors from any claims and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, related to any breach of these Terms by you or your use of any Services.

Force Majeure

Service Provider will not be held responsible for circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to failure of electronic or mechanical equipment or communication lines, telephone or other interconnect problems, computer viruses, unauthorised access, theft, operator errors, severe weather, earthquakes or natural disasters, strikes or other labour problems, wars, or governmental restrictions.

Changes to these Terms

The Service Providers may, in its discretion, change these Terms. Whenever the Terms are changed, the Service Providers will publish the revised terms on the website. If you use the Services and/or the Content after the Service Providers have published the changed terms, you are agreeing to be bound by those changes. If you do not agree to be bound by those changes, you should not use the Services and/or the Content any further after they are published.

The Service Providers may, in their discretion, terminate or suspend your access to the Services and/or the Content at any time with or without cause by delivering notice to you.

These rights of termination are in addition to all other rights and remedies available to the Service Providers under these Terms or by law.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with Finnish law.
