One of the largest ambulance operators in Brazil is looking for broadband connectivity solutions for its ambulances. It intends to ensure a reliable connection to the 5G network and expand the range of services available during emergencies. The company has service contracts with public and private hospitals, and large oil and gas companies. It provides emergency services at major events in Brazil such as football matches and music concerts.

The company is looking for connectivity solutions that guarantee reliable connection to the 5G network (where it is available) and other networks for its operations in remote regions.

Because ambulances connected to the 5G network are still practically non-existent in Brazil, the company wants to start with a pilot project equipping at least two ambulances. By guaranteeing a reliable connection to the 5G network, the company plans to deploy other applications such as communications, telemedicine, and remote monitoring of patient electrocardiograms.
