Manufacturer in South India looking for partnership in manufacturing of Bio Toilets for railway carriages
A renowned industrial group based in South India that manufactures customised Precision Components for several industries has recently forayed into the manufacture and supply of components and ready-made units for an Indian railways company that has initiated a coach modernization programme.
The industrial group has received orders to manufacture Bio retention tanks that finds its application in containing and decomposing human waste collected through the toilets in the coaches.
As a next step the Indian railways company plans to convert manual flush-based toilets into a vacuum enabled toilet system. The plan is to fit these modern toilet systems at the rate of 5000 coaches per year (~ 20,000 toilet units in total). To this end, the Indian industrial group is in the process of identifying partners across the globe to establish a technology tie-up / joint-venture to be setup in India.
